Housing Plans

The following plans are available

  • Single Accommodation (single bedroom in shared apartment): $124.75 per person/night
  • Double Accommodation (single bed in shared bedroom): $111.50 per person/night

Single rooms contain one twin bed and double rooms contain two twin beds. If you choose a double room, please indicate roommate preference. If one is not listed, we will assign one to you. All housing has shared bathroom facilities, with a communal kitchen and living room area. The refrigerator is left on, but stoves are disabled during the summer season. Cooking is not permitted at any time; and hot plates, coffee makers and microwave ovens are not allowed. Guests requiring special accommodation should inform their conference director well in advance. Two towels and bed linens are provided. Please bring your personal toiletry items. There are no alarm clocks or televisions.

The package plan includes breakfasts, lunches and dinners, with most meals served cafeteria style at a dining hall in close proximity to your housing. Each housing option comes with meals that extend from dinner on the first night through lunch on the day of check-out. Housing fees also include a parking permit.

Additional nights for participants who want to arrive early or stay late can be purchased. Housing on the UCSC campus is by pre-registration ONLY! No “walk-on” housing will be available. Each participant will be responsible for making their own individual housing reservations. Payment: in US FUNDS ONLY, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card and American Express.
